We stand at a point in world history where it is crucial that we collectively elevate consciousness in the face of all the challenges we are facing, both in terms of wars and climate change, and in relation to ourselves. That we are aware of what we think, what we say, and how we act.
But what does it mean to be conscious?
To be conscious means that we have a heightened awareness of how we responsibly act and exist in the world. And it all starts with ourselves.
With the challenges we face globally, we can easily be paralyzed by fear. But everything is energy, and when we are paralyzed, the energy does not flow. We must maintain trust, send light and love, and do our part, for example, by considering sustainability in everyday life. For ourselves and especially for future generations, so that hope is preserved. It is our responsibility.
Thankfully, it has become more and more trendy to buy second-hand, to be conscious of one's consumption - is it a 'need to have' or a 'nice to have'? When we are conscious of our consumption, it is actually striking how little new we really need.
The food culture has also evolved, and more and more people have started to live vegan or vegetarian - a conscious choice for many to take care of the climate and at the same time consider animal welfare. And more people are also starting to consider sustainable vacations within Europe, where trains are chosen over flights or where extensive overseas trips are minimized throughout life. Again, a stance regarding each individual's carbon footprint.
When consciousness comes into focus, it is no longer coincidences that determine the course of one's life.
Often, different jobs, partners, acquisitions, places of residence, etc., can depend on coincidences rather than conscious choices. We can get carried away without actually stopping and feeling in our hearts whether we are on the right course. Whether there is alignment between our authentic selves and what is happening in our lives. We must allow ourselves to pull the handbrake and reflect inwardly, to look back and take our past into account.
On the path of life, we encounter many teachers in the form of parents, partners, employers, etc. Teachers who enable us to get to know ourselves better, for example, to set boundaries, to feel what we want and what we do not want. They help us peel away the layers so that we get more into the core of our authentic selves.
As we become more and more at home within ourselves, we are at a place where we can live more authentically and thus consciously. That we are aware of what we think, what we think of ourselves, and what we think of others. That we learn to think good thoughts about ourselves and likewise about others, as there is no separation, as we are all connected. That we understand the connection that when we condemn others, we condemn ourselves. We should rather speak each other up. In that lies empowerment.
Reaching the core of consciousness, one's true essence, opens up the feeling of being part of something greater. When we are here and free ourselves from the ego's constant insistence, we tap into our soul's energy - into our higher selves. Here is the consciousness that there is a deeper meaning to everything, that everything is energy, and that we have boundless resources and opportunities... if only we are conscious in life.
